Everyone, everywhere, from the streets of London to the cloud forests of Guatemala, deserves to realise their full potential.

​Yet too many lack access to even food, education and basic healthcare, in particular indigenous people. And those who suffer most are indigenous children.

​AMOR (UK charity no. 1149487) helps alleviate suffering among Mayan people in Central America, fight the causes of racism, poverty and injustice and help rebuild indigenous communities worldwide devastated by genocide, poverty and war through an education that helps all people realise their full potential and by reviving traditional knowledge.

Transforming lives in the UK, we empower disenfranchised young people to transform their limiting beliefs regarding themselves and others and take control of their lives and future by helping others overseas.​

AMOR is a story of triumph over
​extreme adversity
​​AMOR was founded by Mayan philosopher, human rights activist, medicine man, author and artist Arnulfo Gomez Oxlaj. The only survivor of a child massacre in his Guatemalan village in which 115 children perished, Arnulfo resolved to help transform that tragedy into action to help his people rise out of the ashes of genocide and contribute their gifts to the world.

My name is Arnulfo Oxlaj, founder of AMOR.

I´m a native American, a Mayan whose soul cries out with those of my ancestors when every day I see children born into the world condemned to be beggars, without a space, without freedom and without hope.
