HOW WE WORK
We use a development model that strikes at the heart of injustice and poverty, empowering indigenous people to be their own difference. We invest the money we raise into teams with years of experience to build sustainable, community-owned human rights, nutrition, water and education projects across Central America and southern Africa. Our team works to ensure that every penny is accounted for so that we can maximise transparency to our donors. Learn about our approach, the solutions we fund and our community partners on the ground.
Our Progress
We're passionate about solving the poverty crisis in our lifetime, and raise up the Mayan civilisation once again, using 100% of all public donations to fund human rights, education and aid projects, and proving where every penny goes with photos. Here's the progress we've made since we started working in 2012.

WHERE WE WORK
We work primarily in the four countries that make up the Mayalands in Central America: Guatemala, Belize, Southern Mexico and Honduras. We also work in Southern Africa and the UK. The vulnerability of communities and their readiness to work for change helps determine where to work. We focus on providing rural indigenous communities with their very first access to traditional education.
STORIES FROM THE FIELD
Our time in the field gives us a personal view on what it's like to help people regain their self-sufficiency. The Mayan mothers, children and communities that we’ve met inspire our ideas and take a leading role in delivering our solutions. Every one of them has a story worth sharing.
